Can someone explain the basics of digital scrapbooking?

I've never seen done, and I really do not get the concept at all. Do you print After designing pages on the computer? Do you need a special printer? Are there any online sites that offer free or not, always have to buy a computer? Do you add accessories (stickers, lace, etc.) after printing that? I'm confused, background information so that only would be appreciated.

I also recommend getting his book "Computer Tricks for Scrapbooking" to get to handle different ways of using Photoshop. As for your other questions: yes, you can print pages after creating them. It is recommended that you have a photo quality printer. If you are scrapping 12×12 pages, then you will need to obtain a large printer that can print that size (Epson makes a great one). Or you can upload your page to a photo processing site (I use Costco) and printing as well as a large photo. Not many sites to download free kits: www.digitaldesigns.com www.twopeasinabucket.com are two of my favorites. I am a "hybrid" Scrapper. That means I can do something for my page using digital equipment / Photoshop and then add method "real" embellishments such as chipboard, ribbon, etc. Once I have my printed page. I like the three-dimensional look to add my adornments – and since I shop therefore I kind of have to use them =). Once again, I really recommend looking Jessica Sprague sites to get a better idea. She is totally awesome and answered all questions I have had and some had not even thought.
