What is the best way to layout a research design Graphic / notepad file?

Hi I am a college student and we have to keep a running journal / notebook / file research on anything that looks interesting and how we came up with ideas allocation reports. I want mine look professional, so if I go to a job interview you can see my research. I do not want to use a plain a4 folder and I do not want obvious college / high school thing to write all about what I did with putting in the image below. It's a way you can do, or any of their links and books of ideas people have done this?

Hi Alison, there are always many ways to organize any research or notebook. You can arrange for impact, if read from front to back, and you can get interesting closure designs for those who will flip back. You can arrange for you to find things easily, using a table of contents, list of illustrations as well. It could be organized chronologically but that may not make sense to anyone else you.
