Does anyone have any idea scrapbooking?

I have 15 years and working on my first scrapbook! I do it for the full year 2008. I have lots Pictures of vacations, family trips, hanging out with friends, pets, etc. As this is my first scrapbook, I'm looking for some advice. In all my pages I put photos on a sheet of pretty paper and scrapbook paper to make a border around them. At some point I can use scissors crazy to do this. Then add stickers that match the item to the page. Are there other things you add more pizazz to your page? To make it more fun? ANY advice would apprieciated. I want my first book of memories to look really cute and fun to watch when he is older. Thanks:)

The other respondents gave suggestions. Do not forget add personal elements to your pages such as tickets, schedules, song lyrics, candy bar wrappers, menus, shaker boxes and small sandy beach shells, brochures, or something. Use tape. If you can afford it, go to Joanne and get a small recording device for about 10.00 and record a message 10 seconds. Correct to a page behind a photo or sticker or personal items that people can click to hear his message. Make some of your images in 3-D. Click double prints of images and cut around people at a time. Then fixed on the top of your entire print double labeled foam squares. Also can cut around the person (s) in a photo and paste them into the top of an image from one of the places we visited. For example, a person cut and paste to the top Statue of Liberty (or whatever it was) as if they were hanging. Good luck and have fun:)
