With hundreds of thousands of scrapbooking papers and embellishments available in the market, it is easy for the field of art to become overwhelmed by scrapbooking supplies. This becomes a particularly difficult challenge for scrapbookers who live in small spaces like apartments or dorms. Never fear – with some effort you can follow a few simple steps to create a space for their things organized, clean and beautiful.

You may need more time and space to organize documents. A good choice for this is a saving of paper, as done by most larger companies scrapbooks. Usually made of plastic, these portfolios as folders are large enough to hold hundreds of documents and include tabs to separate the pages into categories for easy organization. If you find you do not have enough space to save paper, may also be useful to invest in a filing cabinet or one of the sets of drawers made especially for scrapbooking. These are available in all craft stores and online.

Once you own a tool for organizing, The next step is to decide how to classify their sources. The most often used is color, but can also separate your paper into themes (holidays, wedding, etc.) or by the brand, such as solids and stripes. You can also use this system to organize flat embellishments, such as reduction of death or stickers.

They also need a place to store your tools and embellishments that are not easy to present. A good way to do this is by using baskets and a shelving system. Keep cutting tools in one basket, glues in another, markers and paint in a third, and so on. By buying baskets in bulk, save more money if you use photo boxes, and the display will be uniform and attractive. Remember to label your baskets to save time when you are looking for a particular topic.

If you need to save space, however, a basket and shelving system does not work for you. Instead, keep all your tools and supplies stored in a safe and out of the way and keep a "kit" of items used to hand in a photo box, basket, bag or other container. Thus, when you only have time to make a quick page or two, you can use the kit to complete it and then clean up quickly. On the other hand, when you can spend one day entirely to scrapbooking, you can pull your storage resources to complete many pages of your album.

Try to remember that keeping your space clean and organized will make scrapbooking easier and more enjoyable in the future. The labeling of storage containers and sorting your documents, you will able to quickly find the tools you need. Organization is the key to stress-free scrapbooking and creating beautiful albums.
